so when i moved to chicago i said i would take pictures, have a blog, and basically keep everyone in the loop. since i moved that hasn't really happened so i thought i would take this, my first into my blog, to update everyone on the 'goings ons' of tim yager.

firstly, i'm moving. i can't take this city anymore, it's just too much sometimes. no, i'm kidding, but i am moving farther north to a part of town called andersonville. the place is really nice, much nicer than what we're in now in that we'll have heat in the winter, nice bathrooms, central heat/air, and probably no rodent problem. so, we're really excited about that. i'll be living with robert and tyler. it's a 3 bedroom and we have a nice deck outside. we're also really close to some of our friends so we're excited about that.

next on the list is improv. it's going really well and i am completely excited about this part of my life. april 29th i start my 5b class, which essentially is level 6. it's a performance class, meaning in this case that for 8 weeks my class and i develop our very own form and then after our classes, we hire a coach and perform our form upstairs at iO for 8 weeks. during the 8 week performance stretch people from iO would have been seeing shows and taking notes on people and after we're done performing some people will be picked to be on new or existing harold teams at iO to play downstairs, which is the honor that is bestowed on a lucky few.

having said that, if you do a little math you should be able to figure out at one point this summer you could come to chicago to see a show, or if you live in chicago, just come to iO. the shows are on sunday nights by the way.

so, other than improv and moving i do have a job. it's going really well. if you don't already know i got a job a month or two after i moved here doing web development. web development means i write the code that puts your comment on someone's myspace page sort of thing. the name of the company is duo consulting and the people there are smart and very cool, no one's a wanker and i'm constantly learning new things.

so, life is pretty good. i'm writing this right before i leave to go to ann sathers (which is probably one of the best places to get breakfast things in chicago) with some friends from class and then to class (level 5) with pat o'brien.

i plan to update the look and feel of my blog, but i figured just getting a post was a good start.
